Pengalaman jadi moderator | online version

 
Hi semua. Hari ni Nisa nak share pengalaman Nisa jadi moderator dalam salah satu initiatif event office. Nisa merupakan salah seorang ahli jawatankuasa di office untuk buat aktiviti yang boleh buat officemate buat luar daripada kerja. Sepanjang PKP, kita buat simple survey macam mana bekerja semasa PKP. Kebanyakkan officemate yang newly in parenthood , mereka struggle untuk seimbangkan kerja dan keluarga. Jadi Nisa dijadikan orang yang menggerakkan sesi untuk sharing dibawah Women In Nielsen (WIN). Nisa menggerakkan dan pada masa yang sama ditugaskan jadi moderator. Sebabkan Nisa juga seorang ibu dan nak cari yang lain dalam online mungkin makan masa.
 
Semua berjalan dengan lancar dalam masa 30 minit dan bersama Nisa ada dalam 4 orang moderator. Mereka boleh dikatakan ada peranan masing-masing bagi department mereka. Nisa rasa terharu sebab mereka sanggup meluangkan masa bersama untuk berkongsi.
 
Sebagai moderator, Nisa sediakan beberapa soalan dan ada yang tolong review soalan untuk jadikan lagi bermakna.

 Benda paling Nisa risau waktu ni sama ada tersasul takpun sesi akan jadi terlebih masa sebab tak boleh kawal presenter dengan audience. Ternyata sekali apa yang Nisa fikir tu tak berlaku pun, alhamdulillah semua seperti berlaku dengan baik.

 

Nisa belajar banyak benda dalam sesi tu. Idea baru macam mana nak balance kan kerja dan rumah. Mana keutamaan dan bila nak set kan limit kerja dan hal rumah. Tak lupa juga rasa bersyukur bila boleh work from home semasa PKP berlaku. Semoga kita semua boleh biasakan norma baru ini.

 

Which gummy bear will you choose

As usual from LinkedIn JonathanYabut which always make me think of my career projection in good way I would say. Sometimes me as myself still looking and searching what I want to achieve .

I choose gummy number 2, 7 and 9.

For number 2 - I feel blessed that I have boss that trust my work and trust me to handle situation on my own. I believe that's how we can better employee.

 

Number 7 - I have teammates that back up one another. We learn and understand each other personal matter like myself who is a mother to a lovely daughter.

When I want to go back early or emergency matter, they will like

"Don't worry, settle your matter first. We take it from here..."

Sweet right?

 

Number 9 - Learning is the best ever. Everyday so much too learn.

One of my favourite I would say.

 

My work also have Flexible Work Time (number 6)

but I choose to follow the 9am till 5pm. Nothing more than that unless if it's required which is I would say very rarely.

 

Next, I do wish for number 1 and 3.

I know I might sound greeding to have best both world but yeah at least I know what I want in my career. Wish me the best, okay?

Guardian Of MINOC #GOM2019

Hi everyone. For this entry I will write about event happening at my work place. The event was called Guardian Of MINOC with hashtag #GOM2019 (sounds like there will be more next year huh?)

So basically on this day which we did it 1st May 2019 on Malaysia Labour Day, we can bring our parents to work. We will explain to parents what we are doing and how can we develop with MINOC. We also do Mini Explorace for the parents to learn how we work here in Nielsen.

I was in charge for Reference Data or RD booth. Eventhough that is not my department but I take this as my opportunity to learn and how I can link to my daily job basis. Usually I learn it via online training or slides but with #GOM2019 sure give me knowledge for others department.

I love to hear the feedback from parents that they want their children to contribute more to Nielsen. Some of them feel more blessed that their children have a great place to work.

My student result (tutoring)

Basically when you have student to ask what are their PT3 results,

you will feel a bit nervous plus excited.

Well...that's how I felt..

This year I have 1 student for PT3 and I teach him English subject.

After I ask the result, **drum roll**

IT'S A FOR ENGLISH!!!

Usually he will get C for English. Amazing, right??

Even though for other subject, not manage to get A..

1 thing for sure, I'm super proud with my student.

All the effort paid off.

Let's do again for 2019.



Jannah Cosmetic Meet & Greet

Sabtu yang lepas, 9 Disember 2017 diberi kesempatan dan rezeki untuk join Jannah Cosmetic meet and greet. Dapat belajar banyak perkara dan paling best sesi sharing untuk kami bertukar idea. Nisa dapat up kan knowledge make-up, facebook ads dan ilmu bisnes yang Nisa perlukan. Berbeza kalau buat sendiri sebab idea macam tak berapa nak berkembang. 

Jadi kenapa Nisa pilih Jannah Kosmetik?

Nisa suka nak make-up tetapi mostly yang ada tak tepati citarasa Nisa yang lebih prefer - natural, nude colour and less is more concept. Bila dah cuba tu, terus la jatuh cinta. Siapa kata mustahil untuk cinta pandang pertama. Ni dah berlaku kat depan mata.

Ada apa dengan Jannah Kosmetik?

Meet and greet ni pun Nisa bawa sama Maira. Alhamdulillah Maira supportive sangat. Tak sangka dia pun enjoy herself. Maira pun macam nak belajar sama je. Kalau besar nanti, dia ikut jejak langkah ni - of course ibu akan support. Apa-apa pun let her choose her own path.

Hi semua. So, my title explain everything. Semua benda around me di-Korea kan..

Tinggal tak borak je dalam bahasa Korea.

Task seorang tutor

 

Bila dah banyak kelas ajar, mesti permulaan minggu kelas tu dah siap-siapkan bahan.

Tapi ada jugak yang tak complete lagi.

Jadi mana yang tak complete, kita akan cuba flexible kan mana yang boleh.

 

 

Tutor Nisa tak sama macam cikgu kat sekolah sana tu.

Mana yang student nak fokuskan, kita polish kasi kaw-kaw kilat.

Mana yang perlu perhatian, kita 'put them into pieces'.

 

 

Alhamdulillah ada student dari awal buat persediaan peperiksaan besar mereka.

Jadinya, tak terkejut bila tahun exam tu..sebab dah train awal-awal.

 

 

Jadi task ni akan menjadi satu rutin sebagai seorang tutor.

Weekdays jadi Data Processing, weekend jadi tutor.

 

Love my job.

Hi semua... Tergerak hari ni nak luahkan rasa entah la...tak tahu nak describe tapi baik luahkan.. Thanks blog (hahaha beli jiwa la sikit dengan blog tersayang ni)

Ceritanya masa tengah ajar tuisyen English macam biasa. Kelas darjah 4. Alamak terlupa bawak kamus, tapi sekarang kan semua dihujung jari..Kita encik Google kan aje la.. Tengah nak search perkataan "stern" alih-alih dapat makna gini..

Aduhhh jem kepala otak dibuatnya... This is not the word.. seriously I need dictionary waktu tu apa yang difikirkan. Nasib baik, dapat cari jugak explain tapi hahhaa mengagau la jugak.. perkataan yang ni je tak tunjuk direct dari phone.

Pengajarannya : Jangan percaya sepenuhnya pada kuasa dihujung jari. Okay dictionary mana...I need it for my tuisyen class.

Preparation on Share Our Skills

 

Hi guys!! Today I would like to share on my progress regarding Share Our Skills

that will be handle by my work company.

So what is Share Our Skills means?

 Basically just share any skills that you have,

for example DIY or maybe you good in Excel Miscrosoft.

You need to teach others about it.

 

I take the opportunity to teach on creating blog.

Why? Because this is that one so close to me and I will be happy to share with others

about my passion and blog that I've been working on since 2009.

I have prepared some slides. I think I need to add more on slides hehehe...
I've been given 1.5 hours to do class.
I prefer it to be practical class as I am not so into theory thing.

So guys, wish me All the Best.

My life as private tutor

Hi guys!! Let's write something regarding how my life so far as private tutor. Well...I've been doing it since last year. The year that my life like a roller coaster and I must say, I do proud of what I did..
I realize that it is not very easy to be a teacher, (hey technically I am teacher right?) especially I need to make sure that they achieve something after my class end.

I also found out that be a tutor, I need to be creative like in a way how to attract my student attention. I remember there's one class that I have done like more than 3 ways just to make it very suitable for that student. I cannot make it like super-low or too high level for that kid, especially on first class. More lay-back style for first timer, as soon I know where and how to change style of teaching that suits the student and I am surely confident with outcome later.

The problem for student who is shy and less talk...well...that one I need to do more work and yes for hyperactive student...that one not just work will be more even my energy too. Need to like superman or hulk power hahaha..

If you ask me, should you go for private tutor? Yeah sure why not. Challenge yourself. At least teach them how to make them to have confident with themselves. Both of us (tutor & student) will get the benefit. As tutor - able to identify your strength, patient & time management. Along the way, it is not about making money but once we sign up to teach the student, it is the responsibility that need to be carried out as the best as that you can be. As for student - no need to be shy on make mistake, always ask and ask for help & see progress through out the classes.

Nisa at Stress Management Training

 

So, yes I was there yesterday hoping to find answers or maybe other people point of view on stress.

 

Nothing like just listen and do nothing training.

I like when we get to know each other (which sometimes we don't take chance to get to know others),

do sharing about on what to do you think about stress,

what is stress give meaning to you?

why do you stress?

 

how do you handle stress? which I think most of us have unique ways to handle it.

and surprisingly most of us, like no stress with our job but more on outside of our workplace.

We are more into on money issue, unexpected incidence, heavy traffic something like that.

 

We agree that it is better to put stress in positive way instead of negative

which later can harm you - mentally, physically and emotionally.

 

Change to positive way by make a list of what you are thankful of,

get some space of your own, blog what do you like to do and there's a lot of other thing that we can do. But what if your friend said, "I have nothing else today and I am stress about it?"

Well, hopefully not you guys and if you do, feel free talk to me or get connected with anyone that you like.

My weekend for July

 

Just take quick look on my tight schedule for July - ONLY for weekend,okay?

Invitation for wedding, open house and don't forget responsibility to teach the kids.

On top of it, I try to clear my schedule just to be at my hometown.

Even though, just for one night but that should be enough to be with my mom and siblings..

 

After I post this picture on my instagram, I have receive another invitation open house.

I try to make it.. I mean for my family to be there.

 

Fuhh, I feel so blessed with this tight schedule.

Belajar Kelas Kenal Abjad Bahasa Korea

Assalamualaikum dan hi semuanya.. Alhamdulillah diberi kesempatan untuk belajar kelas kenal abjad Bahasa Korea. Kenapa nak kenal abjad? Bukan nya percakapan harian yang macam dalam drama korea tu.. Itu sebab kan kerana kerja yang melibatkan bahasa korea. Jadinya bukan lah nak kena translate, cuma perlu faham je.. Ada basic pun jadi lah. 

Ada 14 konsonan dan 10 vowel. Nampak lebih sedikit dari Bahasa Malaysia dan Bahasa Inggeris tapi kena berlatih jugak untuk bagi mahir. Mana ada orang terer bahasa dalam sehari kn. Bagi Nisa karakter abjad bahasa korea nampak catchy. Ada yang nampak macam orang lidi pun ada. Jakun sekejap jadinya.

Apa lagi Nisa dapat? Tulis nama sendiri dengan apa yang dah belajar hihi.. Hasil tulisan dalam nervous cuba jugak confident. Feel great about it and I feel blessed.

Pengalaman jadi Home Tutor

Assalamualaikum dan selamat sejahtera semuanya. Terdetik dihati nak menulis sharing pengalaman selepas ada kawan pm tanyakan pasal home tutor ni. Katanya wife dia nak mula berkecimpung bab ni, just as husband...dia nak mintak opinion (which is I am so delightful to tell about it).

Jadi home tutor ni kerjanya macam mana.. depends on the client tapi situasi Nisa, I need to go to their house to teach them. Biasanya one-on-one teaching, senang lagi nak fokus. Ada jugak lebih seorang untuk diajar dan Nisa pernah handle seramai 5 orang, seriously penat sikit dan banyak kerja sikit. Ada jugak satu parents mintak ajar kakak dan adiknya (seorang sekolah rendah, seorang sekolah menengah) yang ni Nisa advice kena pandai manage supaya tak ada yang macam pilih kasih. Maksud Nisa kita mungkin banyak spend dengan kakaknya sebab tahun ni dia nak PT3, jadi yang adiknya macam tidak berapa difokuskan. Jadinya, bahan mengajar memang main peranan untuk situasi ni.

Tips untuk newbies yang baru nak berkecimpung Home Tutor

1. Pilih berdekatan dengan rumah. Paling-paling pun travel dalam 15 minit untuk ke rumah client. Kenapa? Senang kita bajet timing dari rumah kita. Kalau kita lambat tiba ke rumah client, boleh beri bad impression dari segi kredibiliti kerja kita.

2. Pilih subjek yang kita selesa untuk mengajar. Kalau kita mahir subjek Matematik, teruskan mengajar yang tu. Kita boleh mengajar dan membimbing mereka dengan lebih yakin.

3. Study dahulu bahan untuk kelas yang akan datang. Study apa? Sukatan pelajaran dan boleh mula dengan basic untuk kelas pertama. Dari situ kita boleh tahu aras penerimaan student kita tu. Jika dia boleh buat dengan pantas dan cepat catch-up, kita boleh buat yang next level tapi harus perlu ingat tak semua student sama level nya. Tugas home tutor ialah bimbing mereka untuk lebih faham apa yang mereka tertinggal dari sekolah.

4. Tanyakan juga bagaimana cikgu mereka ajar di sekolah. Kenapa? Harus diingatkan yang memeriksa kertas exam mereka ialah guru sekolah mereka. Nisa memang suka nasihatkan apa-apa ilmu utamkan dari sekolah. Cara yang macam mana cikgu mereka ajarkan, dan Nisa hanya bantu gilapkan dan bagi tips contohnya lepas membuat jalan kira, selalu remindkan buat checking.

5. Sentiasa jaga hubungan client. This is part of Public Relation. Untuk jangka masa yang panjang, kalau client kita suka dengan kita, akan automatik 'mouth-to-mouth' marketing. Diaorang akan rekomenkan kita pada kenalan mereka. Haah memang boleh jadi...


Cukup la 5 tips ni dulu. Ada lagi ke? Hahaha tak ada la sangat, just Nisa nak citer pengalaman memang best even best friend Nisa pun ada yang terjerebak dengan Home Tutor lepas Nisa buat. Benda baik kan, apa salahnya berkongsi...okaylah kalau rasa entri Nisa ni bermanfaat, feel free to share. Nisa halalkan siap-siap ehehe...

Update on work : Training

2 Minggu dah mula bekerja tapi busy dengan training. I am grateful to have a great team.. Even though just know you guys for 2 weeks and I can't wait to get to the team in our daily work basis.

Paling mencabar semestinya nak catch up schedule yang padat Dan pada masa yang sama nak konsisten dengan pumping breastfeeding routine Dan solat dhuha. Nak hantar Dan Ambil maira dari rumah pengasuh pun jadi mencabar bila nak kena handle dengan traffic jam Dan parking Fuhhh memang nak kena jaga mindset bab ni... Boleh effect seharian kita.

Orait jom tengok macam mana lepas ni..
